Assembly OF GOD - TROY, TX

ABOUT THE CHURCH

We Are A Family Church!

Not only is Connection Point a place for families, it's a place to find family! We believe that healthy families make a healthy church, and healthy churches can make healthy families. Wherever you find yourself or your family, know that there is room for you in our growing church!

Assembly of God

Connection Point is an Assemblies of God Church located in Troy, TX and is a church for all ages and for people from all walks of life. Many of our neighbors know the church by another name, Troy First Assembly of God. We are still the same church, just a different name. One thing that has not changed is our love for God, love for others, and love for fun and fellowship with our church family! To learn more about the Assemblies of God, including the 16 Fundamental Truths, click here.

We are a Bible Believing, Teaching, and Preaching Church!

2 Timothy 3:15-17  (NIV) says: 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a]may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. We believe and preach God's Word.

We Are a Praying Church!

Matthew 21:13 says "It is written," he said to them, "My house will be called a house of prayer..." (NIV). Connection Point wants to be just that. We pray together for one another and believe God to do mighty things in the lives of His people. Our prayer team is regularly available during services to pray with anyone desiring prayer. If you would like immediate prayer, you may call the church office at 254-398-2268 or message us on facebook with your prayer need. Your message will be received and you will receive a response.

We Are A Worshiping Church!

John 4:23 says that a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in Truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks (NIV). At Connection Point, we seek to worship God with our whole hearts! We believe all that we do as a church should glorify Him and point others to Him. His Will comes before our preferences at all times. We will worship our Lord!

About the pastor

In April 2018, Connection Point welcomed Rev. Daniel & Destiny Frost, along with their 3 children. The Frosts come to us from Hewitt, TX and with 16 years of vocational ministry experience, including having pastored in North Texas, and several years experience as Minister of Music in churches in Texas and Oklahoma. Because the Frosts are passionate about music and worship, music is a vital part of their ministries at Connection Point. Together, Daniel and Destiny lead the music in our services with our band and singers. Daniel and Destiny love having their children minister in song as well.

Daniel is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with degrees in Music and Church Ministries and is a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God.
